Is this boat any type of collectors item? I was going to demo it for the trailer. It seems to have a 2-cycle 95 HP V-4 inboard outboard. Weird.

Is this an engine worth selling? It does run, I was told.

Well if any one has info or experience with this boat or motor, let me know.

Now that's a horse of a different color!

Have you tried googleing it? I would think the parts you mentioned may be worth some money to the right person. Ebay!

That is so crazy it would be a blast to restore. Can you imagine crusing around the local lake in that semi-Jetsons looking boat? What a head turner!

Of course, if you don't want to restore it, the only other option is to take the motor and strap it on a surf board. Should provide hours of amusement before some tragedy occurs.8)

I think that is one of the Johnson Evinrude boats from the 60s They made outboards and I/Os.
Pretty sure there is a collector following.
And a web site. Seems like the I/O was 88 hp when the V4 outboard was still 75hp.I bet parts for the outdrive would be interesting to find.

it's extremely unusual to find one in that good condition. there is a huge following for these. and parts are scarce. here's a site. and another link to a discussion just on iboats. if i hadn't just blown the boat budget for this and next month, i'd jump all over that. it's a horizonal mounted outboard engine, with the OMC SEA DRIVE
