Livewell pump help -Champion 180

I have a 1993 Champion 180 and I noticed today that the pump that puts water into the livewell is not working. Can someone tell me where this pump is located. I hope you don't have to remove the gas tank to get to it. I noticed that there is an access panel just behind the live well when you are looking into the battery/fuel compartment. The two wires going to the switch have 12V. Any help would be appreciated.

The pump is probably at the back of boat where the bilge pump is. The water intake is at the back of boat and normally has a plastic screen over it to keep out debris. It is very possible a small twig, leaf or other debris was sucked in and stalled the motor. Follow that line.

Thanks Silvertip, I did notice that the intake does not have a screen. Now that I think about it, it looks like there may have been one and it got broken off. I tried to flush water up there with a water hose but that did'nt help. It looks like I may have to take out the fuel tank and everything to get access to that area. I really hope not.
