should i change to a 4 blade

I HAVE 16x14 aluminum 3 blade michigan wheel on my 1990, 24FT TROPHY hardtop WITH I/O MERCRUISER 210hp 5.7 ALPHA ONE . LOADED WEIGHT IS APROX 5800 & wot is correct at 4600rpm.top speed about 30mph i want better control at dock would an aluminum 4 blade help? would also like to know if 4 blades provide any noticable reduction in vibration?

Merc offers a 4-blade aluminum Alpha prop. The extra blade would get you more bite. They come in 16p, 18p, 20p. A 16 in one of those might do well. I don't think it would have any effect on vibration unless your 3-blade is out of balance.

Actaully Willy on a 4.3 motor they do smooth it out considerably, however this might not be the case in a v8.
