pulling flywheel

I bought a generic multi-purpose puller for my flywheel on a 1990 Johnson 115 H.P. The puller came with various bolts for the flywheel, but the bolts do not fit. I am trying to determine the correct bolt size for the three bolts that screw into the flywheel. My clymer shop manual does not give the size, but I think the screws should be 5/16" 24 thread. Also, I am trying to find the torque settings for my flywheel nut. Any help would be appreciated. thank you

Re: pulling flywheel

1/4 - 20. Make sure to get grade 8 and you'll need some washers or they'll fall through the slots.

Re: pulling flywheel

Ooops - someone else should confirm that. I didn't read your model correctly the first time (1990 15 hp is a little different). I may still be correct though.

Re: pulling flywheel

Never mind, I found a site that lists all steel strengths/diameter and their respective torque specs. Thanks anyway.
