i have a 1995 c115 premix yamaha what is the req. mix on that motor? 40:1 or 50:1? i fouled all four plugs last time out they were covered in oil when i took them out?
Is it true that if u idle to long that it will foul out the plug?

Re: 1996 yamaha 115hp

I'm running a C115LTRV in Nevada. BR8-10 YGK plugs @1.0mm gap. With fuel bowl full usually starts in one or 2 crank tries. Colder weather, I have to use the choke on the engine or at the key ignition.

Oil to gas mix at 50 to 1.

If I idle the engine a few minutes and then shut it off, when I pull the plugs they will be a bit wet.

If you can get the boat to a good Yamaha mechanic, might save you a lot of frusration. Maybe get you on the right track.
