I posted the link while you were typing. Johns Hopkins is a respected institutuion that made the estimate funded by MIT, another highly respected body of learing.

Perhaps you aren't aware of the fact that institutions of higher learning are in bed with the ACLU and Democrats and the media. There isa reason those "brilliant" minds stay in academia. It isn't as hard as the real world.

I'm not that stupid, and I'm not Hillary. But if you honestly believe for a minute that the professor's and researchers in America's institutes of higher learning aren't anti Bush, and wouldn't bias their findings your naive.

Where do these figures come from that they quote? The Iraqis? They SURELY wouldn't lie would they? Other Muslims? Why, they wouldn't lie either. Soldiers? Soldiers see a microcosm of their environment. Their Platoon Sergeant is God, they know nothing above that.
Speculation? Now we're getting somewhere. Records from city halls perhaps? Voter registration? Couldn't be those, they don't exist.

I'm not saying JH and MIT aren't reputable organizations, I'm saying you're quoting their findings as if they're the 5th Gospel. Yet you dismiss what I say and I was there, still work with the community within DoD that I always have and know people in country now.

Your willingness to believe what you read and preach it shows your colors. If that same institution had released a report favorable to the war effort and the soldier I promise you we wouldn't have heard a peep about it.

Sensationalsitic news reports sells papers, reports, web sites etc. We're winning, when it isn't popular, won't. Your biased my friend, and just like your precious party and the media, what you say here is biased. If you can' tadmit that then you're lying to yourself.

Plainsman has helped me a bunch on computer questions. I value his expertise just as I value the delicious sparring down here in the iboats basement. You guys keep my pencil sharp. ( Maybe that's a bad analogy. :% )

Those of you who claim that you couldn't watch after 10, 20 or 30 seconds, how do you know the point of that excellent presentation by a man not getting paid for his performance? Posting body counts is disgusting? Isn't that the point he made? Body counts work both ways? They are posted, but only uni-directional, how is that less disgusting? More info is bad?

What specifically do you deny there? If we (conservative brothers and sisters) only get our news and opinions from Fox News why did we watch that? Back to the body count. Is it perfectly acceptable to you that we increase that number at a faster rate if we leave? Or does your body count disgust only count when it fits your agenda?

I am not picking a fight here, I simply do not understand the logic you apply, and I hope that you can help me. I don't want to get my opinion and news from one source, but I listen to reason, not emotion followed by silence.

I do not support miscegeny in any form and am considered by many to be prejudice.

BUT, I'd be damned fortunate to have him as a neighbor in this whitebread development.

Heck, I'd even put up a good fight for him (in that area and human value I'm color-blind because it makes no difference in right or wrong).
