ok, i'm considering it. will make things easier. part number of conversion kit, and source. waiting on oem manual. as all mine are below 30 hp.

Here ya go. This is a 40 hp, but the idea is the same. You won't find a kit anymore, so just accumulate the parts and go for it. Find a bypass cover with the 3 pump mount holes from a junker 35 or 40hp. i-boats has the pump. fuel connector and hoses are everywhere. The i-boats pump has the fittings at a different angle than the one in the picture, but who cares?

i knew you'd come thru, boy, thats a clean engine. laings said they had everything for it.

In a thread further down about a 58 18hp Johnson, tmcalavy mentions Engine, Blade & Prop in Milwaukee, wi as having the conversion parts for an 18. Maybe they have what you need also.

Yeah if Laings doesn't have the fuel bypass cover check Engine Blade and Prop in Milwaukee...good folks, good prices.

Bypass covers on ebay for RD-19 and other big twins for $3.99 Buy-It-Now plus $3.99 shipping. Can't beat that.

thanks for the ebay lead, bought it. save $20. ordered the rest from i shop. going to junk dealer for connector.
