why cant i find one?!?! i can find a train horn-plenty infact, but i dont want a train horn! lol. does anyone know where in the world i can find a foghorn (not vintage), or who sells them and where?

lol this realllllllllly helps. lol. but these yachts and small ships must get them from somewhere, somehow. and i want to know WHERE, and HOW! NOT if i can screw your wife........and being vintage sure doesnt help the matter......

Call the Mayor of Duluth, MN. I think they retired the foghorn that used to operate at the Port of Duluth. It might be for sale and would probably look something like the one in the picture Drowned Rat posted.

yea, thanks alot studly mandingo. ive seen those before, but couldnt find any audio on what they sounded like. unless you can find audio for a fog horn like that, then im lost. if that sounded alot like a ship's foghorn, then itll work perfectly. unfortunately, i havent been able to find audio, or one that sounds like it.

My ex wife actually and she is probably loud enough to warn everyone in a 50 mile radius that she is there !!
If she doesn't work out as a foghorn then you could always leave her out there !!

the foghorns you get these days are just a normal house alarm speaker that does the tune thing, not like a train hooter that works with air .....
