07 25HP 4stroke Mercury outboard

Anyone running one of these, and are you happy with motor. I need 25Hp motor and Mercury has the best deal.

I believe the model that you are refering to is a 3 cylinder FI outboard manufactured by Tohatsu for Mercury. You might try the Tohastu forum and dealers for more information.

I currently run that motor on a basstracker....from what I have read and experienced....the 07 is underpowered to be a 25hp. In other words you can get better performance out of say a 25hp Yamaha. My lower unit also imploded for no apparent reason. Luckily it was still under warranty

I have a 2006 25hp efi mercury.......it has been a solid engine with very little problems that were not operator induced. But like another poster said, it is a Tohatsu motor and might get better price than Mercury.
