oil pump how much???

i have a 1986 150hp etxj does anybody know what the right amount of oil it pumps i had to replace the old pump ran the motor on 50:1 mix then pulled off the lines to bleed the air but all i get is dribble of oil also i did unhook the arm to the pump and set it at full on how do you know if its enough oil Thanks for any help

The dribble of oil is all you need or get. Reset the control arm to specs to properly meter the oil.

look in the service manual for the correct output.if you replaced the originalp ump with the mikuni pump you should have gotten a kit. the original pump had the check valves in the pump and the 6 output nipples faced up, the replacement has 3 on each side and MUST have inline check valves installed.
the mikuni pump will have to be tested with the manual covering the later engines that used inline check valves not the original manual.
