1988 Capri Cuddy gauges

I have a 1988 Capri Cuddy cabin with a Force 125 O/B.
I am looking for a Rev Counter, Water pressure and water temperature gauges.
I have been told that this model cannot use generic gauges. I have tried to find a site that sells them or a 'Bone yard' that I can pull used ones off.
I would appreciate any help.

The water pressure and temp guages are generic and should work on your boat. Water pressure gauges usually come with all the connectors to connect to any motor. Temp senders come in different sizes to fit different size threaded holes, or use the generic Z mount that just presses the sender against the motors head.

Not sure about the tachometer, because I don't know if Force used a special sender or not. If you go to the Teleflex website and look at their gauges, they should list which motors work with which gauges.

Also ask on the Chrysler/Force message board about tachometer compatability with your motor.

Tachometers do not use a separate sender -- they operate from pulses from the charging system. Some Force models indeed require a "special" tach so make sure you know the year and model of your engine so the correct tach can be specified.
