While at a local marine shop getting some seals for my lower unit, I saw this on the shelf for sale.

The asking price was $200, firm. I put $150 cash under the owners nose and after about 10 seconds they took it. Did I do good? Here's my old and "new" prop. New one is 13.5 X 18 and old one is 13.25 X 19.

Looks like an old Raker, if it is it will have the hub stamped Raker. That prop should have more bow lift. Your old prop looks like an SST.

It is definitely a Raker. Looks like it's in pretty good shape too. I would say you did good. See how it feels on the boat though, that will definitely tell the story.

The old one is a sst. It came on the boat new in 84. I cleaned the prop up with some steel wool. I'll polish it later. Cant wait to try it out, my LU is at a buddy's house getting all new seals installed now. Might get it back this weekend. Here is a before/after steel wool pic.

Raker is a good prop, Ran one for 8 yrs. It can run 1/3 of it out of the water and it still grips pretty good. Remount the engine up a couple of holes higher on the transom. You will notice the boat will ride a lot different, the whole boat will ride higher and less trim will be needed to lift the bow. On my 98 glastron gs180 with a 150 ficht with 19 alum went from 49mph(speedo)@5300rpm, changed to 20 raker 54mph @ 5400 rpm. Raised engine so antivent plate was 3 inches above bottom of boat, no ventilation on take off and only a little on turns if over trimmed considerably. Hooked back up as soon you touched the trim down button

Test run by raising ONE HOLE at a time...keep all variables as consistant as possible...small changes at a time so you know where the biggest changes come.
Each hole is worth 3/4" in heigth, if you're mounted directly to the transom, I'd recommend a water pressure gauge if you go up to the fourth hole.
On most boats, the third hole will put you 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" above boat bottom, possibly 2" on some hulls.
