what engine do I have?

The boat is a 98...the engine is a 7.4l mercruiser, serial number ok283079.

I looked at the parts express, it says (thunderbolt TB5, W/PS, TWOPCEX, WORO, GEN6). But not the year.

It's a 1997 engine/drive package

Merc doesn't use year for anything with Mercruiser or outboards. It goes by SN. And a SN may fall between years, but it's a production cycle.
Then you have GM engine year, and Mercruiser marinization and a new year for Merc is not the same as a new year for GM......... See what I mean?
