Motor peeing inconsistant

I have a 1998 25HP Marineer motor. It started peeing differently. It goes from steady stream to just drips and then repeats itself.. Anyone have ideas on this??

When was the last time the impeller was replaced?

Mine does the same thing..it's the thermostat opening and closing. And..like Don asked, when did you change the impeller last?

I bought used, so as far as I know it was never changed.

I'd change it for piece of mind.
