What year is my Yamaha?

Do the models work like cars? My 130 Yamaha was manufactured in 2000 so does that means its an '01? In other terms the Owners manual I want should be or '01 or '00? The manufacture sticker says 11/00 (USA)

Check the manuals they usually cover more than one year.

go by the last letter in the model number...a year 2000 model number would end in the letter "Y"...an '01 ends in "Z"...an'02 ends in "A"...'03="B"..'04="C" and so on
