This was in San Diego, California Democrat state convention on Saturday;

: When I was growing up, the neighborhoods I lived in were surrounded by farm fields, and every harvest season we had a lot of the migrants who would come up from Mexico through Texas, following the harvest all the way up through Illinois and Michigan, and the children would go to school with us, and every Saturday morning, my church group, we'd go out and baby-sit the younger children so that the older children could join their families in the fields.

Well, I guiess they could get jobs as babysitters, huh?

I love the Hillary quote. Unusually consistent; the Village watches the children, so the little people can work picking her food . . . Didn't she mention something about knowing what it was like on a Plantation?
