Sorry .After reviewing the iboats guidelines for posting ,I discovered that even liberals can't descriminate against any memeber that chooses to reply.That said,there should be a few lefties around shortly to massage your liberal ego. Carry on.

Liberals can discriminate against anyone they want. You just are not allowed to call them on it. See affirmative action or hate crime legislation, or abortion, or set asides, or school integration, or punitive taxation, or eminent domain, or the fairness doctrine, or ...............

No liberals here, only critically thinking progressives. At least you called a spade a spade Art. Most liberals cringe at being uncovered, like dracula recoils at a silver Cross.

All that aside, I thought with age came wisdom. Wisdom would tell you that a philosphy that promises to give someone something for nothing, especially at someone elses expense, was not wise and that trying to negotiate with the devil was futile.

Wisdom, as our Fore Fathers posessed, would tell you that the individual reigns supreme over the 'village'. But then I guess that not all oldsters have the fortitude to take the hard way.

I am just a religious jewish guy who tries to live according to the ideals of his religion.
You see,I was taught to feed the hungry,to dress the poor and to visit those who are in prison.I have heard that those ideas do exist in Christianity as well.

While I don't like labels, as they aren't very descriptive, there are enough "progressives" on this board to balance things out.

Music is never judged by the volume it is played at, but rather the tonal quality associated with it.

I’m so sorry that I cant reply too this thread, as I don’t subscribe too any doctrine, [sob, tear drop]. If I was a conservative, all I would have to do would be too turn my computer on in the morn, get my ditto head marching order, and I’m set for the day. I guess there is some penalty for using the brain too think things out after all.

Hey Rolmops, I thought you said you were a Muslim. Sorry Art, (I only have one brain cell n' very limited comprehension skills), n' when someone does not want input from Cornservatives: we all come to post. I, for one: think most of the left leaning posters on this forum are too engaged in the critical thinkin' necessary to own n' operate boats to be classified a true Liberals. After all if you are out on a rather large puddle n' something goes real wrong it's hard to be a VICTIM and remain alive!! JR

Your religion also believes in the death penalty, respect for business, labeling evil, and it received and delivered the 10 Commandments. If I espouse those values publicly I am labeled a conservative before my tongue stops wagging . . .

I also take from your comments that conservatives are suspected of turning a blind eye to poverty and criminals. Was that your intention? Facts dispute that notion.
