Lower Unit can' be removed- Driveshaft is stuck

Hi Everybody,

I got a 1988 Mercury 45 HP Outboard.
I want to remove the Lower Unit to look for the Water Pump.
The Problem is the driveshaft is stuck.
I tried to remove it, but i had no success.
I already drilled some holes, put a lot of oil to the stuck connection and hanged the engine top over, but for two days still no success.

Has anybody some good advise for me?
I don't know what to do any more...

OH NO!!! Here we go again!!!

This problem has many threads about it. Do a search and you'll spend the next 3 weeks reading them all.

try 'driveshaft' and 'stuck' for starters....
