ok , then motor a 60hp sport four 1967, or 1966?
four cylinder
the #4 wire show rust and the thread in the boot is discolored @ spark hook up.

first i could not get the wire out of the disturber. see pic is there are way without taking apart the disturb to remove wire.

i would like to clean the spark plug wire connect, then test.
note i need someone to tell how , i have a volt meter ( deluxe model)

can it be tested with a volt meter?

it is just this one plug end that looks bad i checked all the others, they are good to go.

can dielectric grease be used in the connect where the boot goes on the spark plug? like in a car spark plug system?

Re: spark plug wire question

Are you aware that the plug wire screws into the distributor cap? And yes, you can use that grease on both ends.

Re: spark plug wire question

I don't understand the question other than there was no answer to your volt meter question. You would need a ohm meter to check the continuity if that's what you meant.

If there was some other answer you're searching for, I may have overlooked the question, and if so, what is it?

Ohm Meter Is What I Was Looking For, Also Use Your Ohm Meter
What Is The Are The Step To Test The Wire To See If It Is Good?
