Please help 1992 Johnson will not plain out

I have a 1992 Johnson 100 GT . I replaced the head gasgets last year. I took the boat out this year with three guys and the boat will not plain out. I did a compresion test tonight and I have 125, 125,125 and 120 on the 4 cylinders. I do not understand why it has no power if I have great compressiion. Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming that you also have good spark along with that compression (check it), I'd suspect either fouled carburetors or possible you connected the primary coil wires wrong when reassembling the cylinder heads etc.

Orange/Blue wires connect to the top cylinder coils.

Thank u for post I had the carbs rebuilt at the same time that I had the Head Gasgets replaced. If u could would u elaborate on the possibility of the wires being hooked up wrong Again THANKS IN ADVANCE. Is it possible that my prop hub is stripped and spinnign under a heavy load Just a thought

THanks again I got my service manual out I believe that the primary lead wire are the other wire that goes into each Ignition coil the wire that is smaller than the spark plug wires. Thanks I will check to verify that they are insalled in the correct sequence. DOes anybody else have any suggestions Agian thanks in advance

The primary wires are the small orange coded wires leading from the powerpack(s) to the coils. If they are not installed properly, the cylinders would be firing out of sequence.

Top cyls must have the Orange?blue wires attached.

Bottom cyls must have the plain Orange wires attached.
