antique johnson outboard

We have an old johnson outboard, has number A3426 on it. I think it may be a model A year 1922 outboard. My father-in-law would like to know a value on it and to make sure it is this year. Any informaiton is appreciated

nearly impossible to say. its where and when and to whom you sell it. conditions means 90% of the value. is it a pristine, or a parts motor. these guys should be adle to help better. http://www.aomci.org/links_page/aomclnks.htm

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Two different someones are likely to give you two very different values. They are nice motors and are certainly not worthless, but I wouldn't plan on using it as your retirement fund...

There may be an aomci regional chapter in your area with a early Johnson specialist on the roster.
