smart tab settings

I just got my smart tabs i ordered SX9510-60 and my boat is a 2005 185 bayliner with the 3.0 ltr i was wondering if anyone knows what the ideal setting for my tabs would be? thanks in advance

Not sure about the new style tabs but I'm sure that they have instructions that would have you install them at some midpoint setting. As with the old SS tabs, most often, they were pretty close to good.

I'm no expert, but I think the directions tell you to put the trim plate bracket in the center position and then water test it before making any adjustments. Use the template provided to get the angle to your transom correct and that will determine where the actuator bracket attaches to the hull. I used a T-square to make sure the actuator was square to the trim plate. Remember measure twice and drill once. Good luck. :)

These new plastic Tabs are the cats meow, the angle is automaticly set. Follow the instructions and start in the middle hole.
