Just acquired this outboard motor, put it on a 14' Alumacraft jon boat. It pushed boat along at 15 mph and then all of a sudden it kicked out of gear and revved up. Each time it is put under a load it will kick out. I am guessing the lower unit is the problem but it has many many years since I have pulled a lower unit. Any suggestions on repairing this problem? Motor has good compression and it looks brand new so it would be well worth repairing. Thanks for any suggestions on how to repair
