You haven't lived til you've had a 20' wave knock you right off your feet. You don't get washed overboard because you're tethered to the boat. The boat heels heavily to one side dipping the mast into the water before the ton of lead ballast in the keel pulls you back upright. And unlike thundercat racing when you get tired and the race is over, you can't go back til the mission is over. Any wave that can spin a 52' boat around in an instant would eat thundercats and puke them out in pieces.
