Hey Kevin70,

Yeah I've taken it out. Are you kidding me, I finished it on Saturday evening and had it in the water Sunday morning. I was pleasantly surprised!! No leaks, she sets in the water nicely, and is quite stable. Needless to say I will be on the water every weekend now. Thanks for the compliment.

Re: before and after photos

Hey Brodie6,

All I did was get some indoor/outdoor carpet from Home Depot and used a gallon of heavy duty in/outdoor adhesive from a local carpet store called 969 or something like that. Needless to say it is real thick stuff. I used a carpet adhesive notched trowel that I got from the Depot to make sure that it will not come up or become loose. Then with some measurements and some over sizing I would dry fit the pieces, make the adjustment cuts and just lay it over the area that was to be covered and used my anchor to press everything together. A buddy of mine has the same type of carpet in his boat that has been in it for over 6 years and his still looks good. In other words it has held up over the years and there isn't any wear on his to date. The total amount of time on laying carpet was approximately 12 hours. That's on the deck and the sides of the boat. The carpet is very easy to work with and cuts easily. Hope this helps you. Thanks for the compliment.
