Looks like the "Bayliner" name is pretty small on those models. Maybe de-emphasizing the name so folks don't feel they are advertising that they bought "just a Bayliner". It takes time to re-build a brand's quality image. Sounds to me like Bayliner is moving right along in that and may not have to be "the cheapest" to get business for long! That is a fine looking boat! It still needs to hold up well, of course.

The bow seating looks short in that photo. I wonder if they moved the console forward for more cockpit room than older models? Glastron does this I know.

you are total correct in moving the console. it added better balance and planing. and the research showed that the buyer wanted the bigger cockpit, more than the bow.

I don't see any snaps for inclusion of the bow area seal for winter cruising. Might mention that to the design boys there. Anyone who has had one knows the value of that addition.

I know, they didn't tell you what it was till you actually arrived and saw it.

they didn't tell us until after the test were complete. they also use unknown people to breif us, so the writers would not know. afterwards they brought in a boat with all the decals, and the known bayliner people. we were totally in the dark. watch for the articles in the magizines. trailer boat is one. will have MSRP this week.

Sorry, this may be a bit off topic - any idea how they mounted the TM on the FnS? Is it removable or is that permanent platform?

i have them same motor , it is removable, and has a cover plate. thats the only thing that does not have a builtin storage spot. i've never taken mine off. when they lock down the don't bounce around. personally, it would not bother me, to leave it on as it is outside the rail, and does not take up usable space. the only draw back is docking on the port side.

at the time this was written the price had not been disclosed, they are in the high 20's.

the boats we tested were going to Austrailia, as demos.
