85 evin general guestions

just got older 85 or 115 not sure no numbers compression reads 125 105 117

110 motor turns over well but has wiring issues and it is electric shift has odd thermo block between heads and odd power pack seems its 73 under
because of electric shift was whanting to know if its worth checking out and can i get lower unit parts if it has shift probs know how to test shift on lower can controls be gotten for elec shift are can a switching system be improvised thanks benny

What's so odd about it? The remote control might be worth more than the whole motor.

Do you have a model number? Two types of electric shift were used. I have a brand new remote control for the earlier type if you want to talk.

You are pushing it on the compression readings. They should not be no more than 15 psi apart. The engine will be hard to tune if they are.

I think it is odd - to get three readings on a four cylinder engine.

Was the engine warmed up when you took those readings?

sorry ezeke the other number was 110 these numbers were written on the heads by some one the motor is free but if the parts are high the comp is not cosistent so used parts are my only option will run comp check my self
will try to run engine if it has spark and pumps water are controls high

and some one cut wires at engine end of plug thanks everyone my post was almost unreadable and i dont even drink who could tell might have to start
