AQ260 bad gimbal bearing?

I can move the shaft pictured bellow. I assume I now will need to pull the
engine and replace the gimbal bearing?

We know them as intermediate bearings, gimbal bearings are on the Volvo SX and DPS drives, along with OMC Cobra and Mercruiser outdrives.
But yes, you have to pull the engine and remove the flywheel cover to change those bearing. Whatever you call them.
