Mexicans have no class

I only watched the Miss Universe cause my wife made me.

When Miss USA was on stage, the Mexican audience (it was in Mexico city), booed. This wasnt the first time it has happened, in 93 they did the same thing.

Just one more reason why I dont want Texas to turn into Mexico.

No doubt that relations between Mexico and the USA as well as between Mexican Americans and white Americans has deteriorated in the last several years.Politicians and goverment policy have succeeded in contiributing to the situation.I've lived in south Texas for most of my life and unlike in years past,you can more readily cut the resentment in the air with a knife.It's a reclamation of territory type metality that has manifested itself into a racial boiling pot in some cases.For example,the local GI forum chapter here in town basically respresents and is controlled by the hispanic community of veterans.Not that technically a gringo couldn't join as long as he didn't ruffle any feathers,but you can count the ones that have on one hand.

I would change the title of this thread to: Attendees of Miss Universe Pageant in Mexico City have no class

Yes, this may be a little too PC for some, but we do need to consider the context. Like we should be surprised about the Mexican audience response to something as important as a beauty pageant . . .

After looking over the pics of the contestants I realized that hotness is apparently not one of the main criteria. Those chics are butt ugly except the one that won, she will be appearing in the HOTD.

Japan was really nice, miss usa was hot too. The others I didnt care for, but I wouldnt call them butt ugly.

I made the generalization based on the booing in 93 and this time as well. The audience was made up primarily of Mexicans.

One would think that those that can afford to go the pageant would have a bit more class than the average person.

I also recall how Mexicans chanted "Osama" while our anthem was sung at a soccer match.

I don't think that mexican-Americans have a problem, it's the Illegal Aliens that do. And they don't get the hyphenated name because they are not an American. Call them what they are, Illegal Aliens
And I wish that hyphenated American would go the hell away. Either your an American or your not.

As for the pageant, I haven't watched it in years.
