Which One?

I am narrowing my search for a new deck boat. Hurricane and Princecraft are looking like my options (which is best?) My wife and I entertain family that visit us in the summer and water activities include fishing, tubing/sking, and cruising. We have several lakes in which we use of all sizes. Is the differance in Draft as dramatic as the manufactures say? 9-11" Hurricane, 33" Princecraft?

look at the Chris Craft Deckboat, we have a 1999 230 5.7 liter volvo SX rate for 13.

My idea of a "deckboat" is basically a pontoon boat deck on a fiberglass hull.
It seems that the boat manufactures have begun to label bowriders as deckboats as well.

The draft figure for the Princecraft is with the drive down. Their web site does not give hull draft. Try to get demo rides in both.

Going with the Hurricane 232 I/O in 24 hrs. unless someone tells me otherwise.

The open layout of the 232 is nice for boat camping and fishing. However, the full width windshield on the Sundeck 237 is a huge comfort when cruising on cool mornings. Resale of the 237 may also be easier.
