Re: Weber Carburetor Conversion Kit for 3.0L Mercruiser

Thanks for everyone's imput on this subject. I think that I will read over the service manual and get the carb rebuilt by someone at a reputable boat shop.

The way I see it is, if the Weber conversion is not used by many here, it must not very good.

I recall you were the one firing off at Bond-O...
Good way to start out being a new user and wanting advice.
I had dropped the subject until i noticed my avatar in your post. So who is the child?
Most of the regular members here i consider friends and we stick together.
So when you diss one of us it affects how some of the other guys will respond to you.
No other members have a problem with my posts.I don't see you trying to help anyone either..
My point in the beginning of this thread was before trying to modify things make sure all the normal tune up specs are met so you don't throw money away.
So drop my avatar and subject is over for me.Or you can continue and the mods will ban you...makes no difference to me.

Actually this conversion kit is Coast Guard approved. Please don't post information as speculation or sarcasm. This is your second post to this thread and in both cases you have not offered anything constructive on a subject you are unfamiliar with. Do some good for this forum and don't be so negative only because you can!

I started this thread to get feedback from those who have either used this kit or know of any who have in order to research whether or not I want to invest $500+ on it.

Talking about NOT posting sarcasm...

Ok everyone, chill out.
This is not a fight ring, it's a boat forum where everyone tries to help each other.
We all have our opinions about things.

For anyone interested in the Weber conversion for merc 3.0Liter, it only works on Rochester manifolds.
