I was thinking to replace a few rusty bolts on an older Evinrude, but some of these bolts are part of the head, my question is if I remove these bolts from the cylinder head, to install new ones, is there any chance of a head gasket leak because I got them loose?
What if I replace one at a time?

Re: Rusty Bolts

Leave them alone if there are no issues at present. If you do get them out you must replace the head gaskets.

Re: Rusty Bolts

Thank you for saving me a headache!
I will leave them alone, I just hope they don't brake because of the rust:(
