How about '85 90hp?

Any problems with an 85 90hp? Is the 6 cylinder a pig on gas? Other than not being able to see over the top of it :) are there any know issues with the outboard?

Good engine, lots of bottom end torque, very smooth. Fuel economy not bad. Carbs have tendency to flood.

Had an '89 115 and was probably the best engine I ever had. Maybe it was the boat, but I got excellent fuel economy and power out of that engine. Had to feed it to get it started the first thing in the am, but it wasn't all that bad.

Had it 7 years and only replaced the water jacket cover (over the heads) gasket cover.
