More rich people behaving badly. Setting bad examples for the kids who worship them.

I'm glad they tossed her sobbing skinny butt back in jail because:

A) She insulted every American by working a deal to get out of jail and into her luxury home when you and I would be stuck in jail. Shows preferential treatment that is a slap in our collective faces.

B) By being sent back to jail, the rest of the world will hopefully realize that the USA does try to treat rich and poor the same. One set of laws for all citizens.

Regardless of the humor, I have to admit, this one is bothersome. Danny Bonaduce (Danny Partridge) said something today that has been ringing a little with me. He can't stand her, but he is PO'd that our public officials can mess with people like this. Can you imagine that two big players (the Judge and the Sheriff) played blo-ho yo-yo with her? So what if they can't figure out who's in charge? In this case they used an American citizen as a pawn in their egocentric power play. I don't care if she is Paris or aspeck (no offense, just picking someone who most would agree is an upstanding citizen), the back and forth deal is wrong. We are not supposed to be jacked around like that . . .

Sure, drag me into this ... :D

Got to admit - never thought there would be a day that Paris Hilton and I would be mentioned in the same sentence! :D ;)

QC, I can't go with you on this one. I don't think the sheriff and the judge were being ego-centric at all. The judge issued a ruling, the sheriff got bought off (obviously), and then the judge (re)enforced his ruling. I hope that skinny little tramp does the whole 45 days.

Re: Paris has to go back to court

Judge should give her a few options

Option 1: Do her 45 days in a pretty nice cell

Option 2: Let her do only half the time in a cell with Big Bertha (Big Bubbas sister)

Option 3: Make her host of the reality show "The Biggest Looser"

Option 4: Ship her to Iraq,,,,,maybe there, her drunk driving will kill a terrorist or find a roadside bomb vs our troops.

Option 5: Make her mud wrestle in every bar across America for a year! Her opponents could be members of MADD!

Crying spoiled brat,,,,,,one thing for sure that I can't understand,,,,,,,Why in the H E double L is she getting the coverage of this. Not much of a roll model if ya ask me........

Sorry Turin, but that just won't do. No lesson, and the threat of death is still out there driving around. Public safety should be on the forefront. A million dollars to her is nothing. If you or I had to deal with this it would cost us what, 15% of a years income just to get to the point where we have to walk to "work".

Poor people who drive drunk repeatedly, violate probation, and attempt to bribe community officials go to jail. (Even the rich, unless you are a Kennedy) Heaven forbid this buffoon learns a little lesson or is incovenienced in some way. How I don't know. Only the small minded are influenced by her types. The law shouldn't be small minded.

Arresting celebrities shouldn't be about revenue generation or publicity. It should be about equal application of the law.

Re: Paris has to go back to court

I've been reading some more on this today. Here's a decent article with some good quotes and info. I still think it is wrong to do the yo-yo deal, no matter who ya are. I also don't think Baca was bought off, I am not that cynical, however, I may be that naive . . . For context, I think she is a skanky tramp, with no clue, who thinks she is better than the rest of us, and thinks she can get away with whatever she wants to get away with. However, I now think that her mental state is a serious problem and not an act . . . Apparently if Baca had used overcrowding as his official excuse the judge would not have had much leeway. He actually screwed up by calling it a health issue. I also think Baca screwed up by not taking the Judge's position on Jail time seriously. The ego-centric thing may simply be the Judge who is insisting on teaching the Sheriff a lesson by using this deal to prove who is in charge here . . .

She was caught dui and got a slap on the wrist for her(she can afford someone to drive her around. She caught caught driving on a suspended license due to the dui, another slap on the wrist. She gets caught again-time to actually teach her a lesson, as she ignored the last 2 lessons.

Re: Paris has to go back to court

The fact of the matter is, is that the sheriff doesn't have the authority to override a judge. If he was a judge then he could say yeah leave, but he's not. If there was a serious medical emergency, then she should have been taken to the hospital. The system has some serious flaws and when it comes to celebrities they generally aren't harsh enough with them. I am sure there are lots of people that have whined and cried and have been able to stick out the sentence. All I can say is WEH, WEH, WEH. Get over it and do your time. It would do no good to fine her, as money is definetly not a problem.

spank the skank

While I agree she's everything everyones said- I'd still do it.

Some of us just don't have any morals. She's not really attractive to me but the thought of making her fall in love with me just to drop her is just outragously funny.
