1998 Suzuki DT200 V-6 EFI 2 stroke. Has anyone adjusted the idle for excess oil use at idle? The engine runs great at top end and I just had a new oil injection pump installed, but it smokes a lot at idle. My mechanic said the oil pump is adjusted as low as it gets. This engine has 2 computers (high speed/low speed), so maybe it has a separate oil adjustment. I have thought about running hotter plugs (BR7HS-10 instead of BR8HS-10. jlaf@focustechnology.com

no, you must never use differnt plugs than specified for the motor ..... don't worry about the smoking, mine does it aswell ..... maybe you must try decarbing the motor ....

There is/are drops of oil on my butterfly valve in the air horn. This never used to happen. Compression is good on all cylinders. Both computer modules have been replaced and I have de-carbbed using Ring Free on
2 separate occassions - 2 bottles per 6 gallons. No smoke on the 2nd
Ring Free. This engine never smoked before until I had the computer modules replaced under warranty. I thought there was an adjustment for the idle mix since there are 2 on board computers.
