Not if you can get the bellows on without it, but it ain't gonna be easy.
You could also eliminate that problem by going to the tube instead of the bellows if you wanted to.
thanks don just trying to see what i got like we talked about before..maybe i will do this now and when i change the gear i will do complete bellows as i got new gimble bearing and shift cable and shift bellows now . and with my inspection the drive bellows looks good. so to me i would do this to see what i got then do the gears correct and the rest of the bellows

Just make it thru-hull, in order to drown out the boom boxes on the wake board towers that keep coming in your face, while trying to fish, or just relaxing, while drifting with the tide...
thanks guys for 2 good ways of correcting my problem. i am going for the tube for now as i want to get it in the water and next year thur trans exhaust
thur trans exhaust will look great on this boat and sound cool
