My son was given a boat with what looks like a 1965 motor VXL-11C. It sat unused for 8 years. I put Marvel Mystery Oil in the Cylinders and Carb. 3xs over a weeks time. We cranked it over 5x and then hit the choke it started right up. It did pump water fine and smoke to hog heaven for a little bit but sounded very good. I am going to chage the water pump, lower unit oil and fuel lines, but any more suggestions?
