Can someone tell me the weight of this motor ??

I have a friend that is considering installing it on a 14' Fiberform, and I cannot find the weight specs online. . . .

269 Pounds. Add 27 pounds if Power Tilt & Trim was added.

Any Idea what the "Norm" Weight was on a 1970ish 70 HP motor was ??

The boat says it is rated for up to a 70 hp, and I am trying to figure the difference between the 70hp motors of that era and this 115, as he wants to put it on a 1970 14ft Fiberform.

The transom is in Great shape, and we where going to reinforce it on the inside.

I know it is not the Norm to do, but is it feasible ??

you can find the weight of any motor at NADA boats, outboards. look up motor.

Thanks for that link, but it only goes back to 1974, and I was needing 1970's
