I recently picked up a Johnson 35 hp electric start that I want to be able to use fom time to time on my bass noat with my same Johnson 9.9 power cable ignition system plug. I just want to be able to take the 9.9 off, hang on the 35 and plug it in. The problem is the plugs are different and I can't just plug the 35 into the 9.9 system. Can I buy plugs somewhere? Is there something else I should be looking at to be sure to connect the correct wires of the 9.9 to the 35 system? Can anyone offer assistance?
