Hi all,
I have a 16ft Chrysler tri-hull boat and matching 35HP ERP that is on its lasts legs. Can I just pull it off and put on a EHM motor in its place without much trouble seeing that I won't have to run cables and such? I thought as long as the shaft was the same length it should work without a problem.
I a no boat expert but my goal is to put a smaller 9 or 15HP on it just to have a reliable motor to get me around the lake. The boat is in such great shape I don't really want to buy a new used boat at this point. I'd rather invest $$ into a newer motor to hold me over for a while, plus I really like the boat and its nostalgic feel...
What do you think?
