I'm thinking the plugs fire twice per rev; once to light off that cyl and a second time when at the bottom of the power stroke when another cylinder is firing......
With that said, you ought to be able to swap stator wires to the other bank and do your test...........does that make sense? That's the old classic 4 cyl engine design
