recently acquired 4.5 eska looking for model # tag is missing and numbers are not stamped anywhere I can see. Any input or does any one have a number I can use to get on to the sears site for parts or manual?????
Look down in this forum. There's a question about a 4.5 Ted Williams, which is the same engine you have. The 4.5's were made for a few years only, and I believe, from looking at the Sears site, that they are virtually identical, throughout that short run.
The Sears model number for his 4.5 is in that thread, and you can use it to access the Sears diagrams.
Sadly, you'll find that most parts are not available through Sears, although they have impellers, and some other common parts, but no carburetor kits.
A better source for other parts is certifiedpartscorp.com. There's a phone number on the site, and the people there can help you figure out what you need. Start with the Sears model number from that other thread.
