How Long To Install Impeller??

I have a 1960 Evinrude Starflight 75 and i wanted to replace the impeller and maybe the water pump too because i have no idea when it was done last. any ideas or general time frames? i am new to boats, but i am mechanically inclined. thanks!

I could slap one in there in a half hour. But probably would charge you more for testing, going to get the parts, etc, etc.

i do have a manual, the previous owner gave me one, so i have read all about it but it didnt say how much time to set aside and me not knowing anything...

Case of beer...6 hours...skilled machanic 30 minutes.

just a tip you might want to find some hoses that fit over the water tubes to help with lining them up when you get ready to put the foot back on. the hoses will give you extra length to get the tubes lined up in the impeller housing holes.
