88 stratos f/s leaks

i have a 88 stratos 266fs and its been having water come in and almost swamp my boat from the side deck vents near the back.i was woundering if anyone else has that problem or if anyone knows if i can seal the vents so it dont come in.i do have a deck vent breather for my tank so that isnt an issue..any help would be helpful....

are the louvers slanting forward or to the stern. how is water getting that high. are you sitting that low in the water.

the louvers are slanted stern and the boat does sit low,but lower when pulling tube or wakeboard and when i turn or hit waves while pulling the water pours in the vents..
