I accidently turned the perko switcher to the off position when my engine was running, and the alarm started sounding and never stopped. Did I fry my alternator? I don't know if the boat has a field disconnect or not. Is there a way to tell? I was flushing the engine when I turned the switch off so the instruments or the lights weren't on. I disconnected the batteries (2) and connected back together but the sound was still there. I don't know if I was suppose to this but I tried and engine still runs but the sound is unbearable. Any helped would be appritiated. Thanks....
