100 grit too fine?

Is 100 grit too fine to sand the hull prior to fairing with quick fair? I got carried away and did the whole bottom.

Ummm maybe 150-180......:D Sand on its good for the soul....;)

Use fairly coarse sandpaper, like 80-grit. The QuikFair will fill in the
scratches.

So off to sand to 80. Much easier putting tooth rather than the other way around :)
