NO fuel to plugs!!!!!!!

Ok a newbie here.. Did the carb rebuild and then decided to check under fly wheel and found I needed a full tune up. So put in all new stuff from johnson shop here in town.. Got it all back together and no fuel at carb. went to pump and bowl but no fuel at carb.. Ok took it off 3 times til I figured out I put the float on upside down.. Then got fuel to carb... Well over choked her and had fuel pouring from front of throat.. Set engine level and didnt choke it.. waited and then pulled her over several times.. The plugs arent even DAMP.. This engine ran on a crappy unadjustable carb and one cylinder during a weekend fishing tourny last week.. Feel like I am either very dumb or should just put the crap back in and say the *(*^% with it.. Tashasdaddy and others have been very patient with me but this has me very disgruntled that it should at least fire....Heres how the coils were before by the way!

OK, first things first....after you replaced the ignition system (coils, points, condensers), got the flywheel-coil rubbing thing sorted out etc....did you check for spark at both plug wires?? I'm assuming you have some sort of compression , as the motor ran before.

Using a spray bottle, spray fuelmix (gas/oil mixture) directly into carb throat and pull her over. Does it run for a few seconds??

No its doesnt run by doing that... Took plugs out and its pushing air fine and compression was good when we checked it.. Just not sure why not even damp plugs.. Ran til I pulled it apart...

Ok, you'll need to use a screw-in type compression gauge to get a realistic compression figure (for future reference). Using your thumb over the plug hole doesn't tell us much. I'll ask again, do you have spark to both plug wires?? Remove plug wire, insert screwdriver tip into boot until it bottoms out, hold screwdriver shaft 3/8 inch from a power head bolt, pull rope. Did you get a strong blue spart to jump the gap?? Test both plug wires and report back. Did you use a new carb to intake manifold gasket??

Remove the plugs and squirt some fuel directly into the cylinders, then see if it will start. It won't, but at least you will have proven that it isn't because there is no fuel to the plugs. Something else is wrong with that motor.
