For several years now, absolutely every time I call a number that requires me to press one for english, I ask for a manager and complain about it. You ought to hear some of the lamed brain (as in educated by liberals) excuses I get. One recent one was that 'this is, after all, a bi-lingual country'. That just made my blood boil.
Yep, it's us liberals doing this. I went down to my local Walmart and held a gun to the manager's head until he put up signs in Spanish. Then I went home and worshipped the Devil for awhile until the babies in the microwave were done.
Businesses don't do this because of "liberals." They do this because they have a customer base who speaks Spanish. The businesses assume that the Spanish-speakers spend more money than the folks who complain or hang up. Maybe in the long run, people who complain or hang up will win out, but don't hold your breath.
As for customer service, I find that every time I order parts from someone East of the Rockies, I have a hell of a time understanding anything they say. I had to order some parts from Louisiana. Did I hang up when I found out the guy on the phone had an accent? Nope. He had the best prices. Prices generally beat out principles. That's why folks shop at Walmart. That's why Walmart coddles Spanish-speakers. That's why you can't blame liberals for every little boo-boo you get on your little sense of what's right for this country. Commerce is good for this country. Multi-lingualism builds commerce. Businesses will continue to support bilingualism as long as it helps them make money.

LOL......"Do you have a blue Mexican?"
