Ok, picked a paint, how much of it do I buy?

I have picked a paint to paint the bottom of my boat, based on the recommendation from Interlux and the boat's usage. The paint I want to use only comes in quarts and I'm not sure how much I'll need. The paint is paintabile using the roll and tip method, which I'm very good at, having painted professionally as a young man. I'll be using Interlux Brightside and Interlux primer.

The boat is a 16 foot long by 52 inch wide fiberglass boat. About how many quarts of primer and paint for good coverage do I need?

Thanks,

Dave

1 qt. each should be enough coverage for one coat ( with a little leftover )

gcboat,

That's what I was looking for. Sounds like if I want a good two coat coverage, I'll need two coats.

thank you,

Dave
