And you thought you were having a bad day:

Your 65' custom built yacht, 4 state rooms, GPS navigation, twin Supercharged diesels, etc. = $2.5 million

Crane and Rigging complete with faulty turnbuckle = $2,500 per hour

Champagne and Strawberries, dockside, for the excited "soon to be owners" = $250.00

Watching your dreamboat nose dive into the harbor, accompanied by two corporate representatives just prior to "inking" the final paperwork........ priceless...

Check out the guy on the stern, holding on for the ride of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if you look closely; his partner is visible...just an arm....ahead of the first guy...just next to the bumper

Re: Brand New Yacht Sunk at Launch

That's worse than leaving the plug out, I think.

Plus, there's a nice big oil slick around that upside down boat. That's going to make the enviros unhappy, too.

All in all, it looks to me like someone's going to take a really, really big loss. I'm sure the boat is salvageable, but the buyer may well back right out of the deal.

That is so bad, I can't believe it isn't for a movie or some insurance company promotion.

WOW!!! The guys on board are lucky they didn't fall towards the bow like in the titanic movie.

Forward sling failed sending it into a nose dive leaving the rear sling to tear off the props, struts and shafts on its way down! Nice one!

What rigger would allow someone to ride that thing while its in the slings. I thought that was a bigg no-no! Looks like a jetski submarining. Somebody got fired.
This is one of those pics I almost hope is real, just to know it really happened. MAN whata bummer.
